TAFAWA BALEWA IS DEAD AGAIN
It wasn't a slogan that if someone dies his name will also die with him, unlike sir, Abubakar Tafawa balewa a former prime minister of federal republic of Nigeria. sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was killed on january15, 1966 in Lagos during an military coup de'tat, in the first republic, first civilian government. but the most imaginary part of the story is that his name doesn't die with him in a memory lane.
To keep us on track and not to be forgotten issue in the history of Nigeria, his picture photograph was embedded in five naira note. But now is dead again, and get killed by Nigeria price control committee, meaning if we stop spending the five naira how can he be remembered for his good deed.
After fighting successful to secured the country national independent from our erstwhile masters (British) there are many of his likes that have been forgotten since there is nothing to remember them for, such is life. i so much love him, being an educated hausa man and his simplicity of living a fulfill life. sir, i grieved your death i pray they should revert the use coins and five Naira note.
