Since 1999 democratic system of government was introduce to Nigeria, the citizen of Nigeria hasn't benefited from the dividend of democracy. The federal government always initiate a relief programs for poor masses but he does the reach the beneficiaries, the government officials or delegate only use random sample approach and that covers there constituency alone.

These approaches made many Nigerians to loose hope on the government side, The bill that will reduce the masses hardship will not be passed for deliberation immediately. sometimes it took the lawmakers one to two years before passing a favorable bill that will enhance betterment of the poor Nigerians.
And if they eventually do it, there will be delay in funding it

There are many other relevant benefit or programmes that as to do with the commoners, but was cornered by the government officials and their relatives that as the opportunity to be part of the initiative. Democracy itself as being slow down by the political cabal in Nigerian, They have the concept of moving the country forward on a fast lane.

But due to the self-centered behaviour every plan still in drab moment, it is not that they don't where they are heading to, but choose to neglect the truth. whenever a commoner raised issues that contrary go against their policy, that person will be a scape-goat and he will be dealt with squarely and in accordance with rules and regulations governing the policy.
