VERBAL WAR

The ongoing verbal war between imams and pastors in Nigeria, should not be overlooked. Though similar cases like this had  happen but not so aggressive as the present one because the imams and pastors are calling for each others heads. some pastors and imams are trying to quell the tension, while some are adding more fuel to inflamed the whole country on what will result to religion war between the christian and Muslims.


Lets look at Nigeria inwardly, We had three religion in existence, Muslim, christian and pagans. if really you are a university graduate you will come across a course in the university called general African studies in university of Lagos (unilag) we called the course code GAS 201 and 202 respectively. The textbook was full of African context , he told us how Islam migrated to Nigeria, another textbook gave us the insight on how the missionary brought Christianity to Nigeria. But how paganism came to Nigeria nobody gave us the account of it. The country Nigeria belong to which of these two recognised faith.


The relationship of some Muslims with their christian counterparts is well established , to the extend that when a his celebrating any success he will invite or informed his fellow christian friend , and if a christian is doing anything worth celebrating he will notify his Muslim counterparts, so why the religious leaders with their self- interest wants to turn the country up side down.
