Niger deltians has suffered setback for more that four decades, but the genesis of there problem is bad leadership. apart from being the mainstream of nigeria economy for long,it also the sources of Nigeria income from abroad and internal revenue. many president has came into power and serve their required years without given a critical look and consideration to a state that feeds nearly hundred millions of nigerians, niger deltians are to enjoy the comparative advantage of their resources endowment among other state and it neighbours states. the late and former head of state musa yar-adua make wise decision granting the militant amnesty and rehabilition, many militants benefit from this programme. thereafter a organisation called NDDC was formed to monitor the development of that community as a whole, multi billions of dollars was pumped into that project that the leaders of Niger delta can't account for it. during jonathans regime all the militant feel at home, even getting a juicy contract of securing oil pipeline at the expense of others Niger deltians.
